We’ve always known that Tennessee Walking Horses can do practically anything, but recently they’ve taken that versatility to a new level at football games – delivering the game ball to the refs. Recently MILLIONAIRE’S ROW and Bill Callaway exhibited at the Columbia (TN) Central High School homecoming game and MR. TRUE BLUE and Ally Jo Jacobs exhibited at the Middle Tennessee State University homecoming game. Both delivered the official game ball to the officials following their exhibitions.
MILLIONAIRE’S ROW is the 2024 Open Specialty World Grand Champion and is owned by Jackie Greenwalt. They were invited to exhibit because of the Columbia Central High School football team’s relationship with the Columbia Spring Jubilee Horse Show. For the past couple of years, the football team has provided volunteers for the show in exchange for a donation to their program. The football team members were a visible part of the show in their football jerseys picking up trash and working the gate.
Jake, Amanda, and Ally Jo Jacobs, owners of MR. TRUE BLUE, are definitely “true blue” super fans of the MTSU Blue Raiders. Both Jake and Amanda are graduates of MTSU; Amanda was a member of the Lady Raiders basketball team during her time there. Their daughter Ally Jo, a world champion equestrian, rode the horse for the exhibition. MR. TRUE BLUE was the 2022 Four-Year-Old World Grand Champion, the 2023 North Carolina State Championship Grand Champion, and the 2024 Open Canter World Champion.
