The Tennessee Walking Horse Youth Association (TWHYA) recently paid for the restoration of a portrait of Haynes Peacock and Col. R.L. Haynes, the 1940 and 1941 World Grand Champions. The portrait was restored by Jennifer Sterne of Pegram, TN and is part of the collection of the Tennessee Walking Horse National Museum. It’s currently on loan to TWHBEA and can be viewed in the lobby of our headquarters in Lewisburg.
