At the semi-annual meeting of the TWHBEA International Board of Directors, Mississippi Director Bradley Prewitt introduced a resolution for TWHBEA to create a Continuity of Show Operations Task Force. The goal of the task force is to come up with actions for the Executive Committee and/or Board of Directors to consider if a worst-case scenario occurs. The resolution states that TWHBEA will fully support the current legal efforts with regard to the rulemaking by the USDA but should plan a way forward if those efforts fail. At their August meeting, the Executive Committee named the following to CEO, Spencer Benedict, Jeffrey Howard, Maggie Moore, Sam Sorrell, TWHBEA Advocacy VP, Nathan Clark, Dee Cantrell, TWHBEA Show Horse VP.
