The original nominator of the mare and stallion will receive 15% of that nominated foals Futurity winnings throughout its TWHBEA Futurity career.

Money collected from Stallion and Mare fees will be divided equally between the years that the foal is eligible to participate.

Foal Fee – Must be paid each year of eligibility in order to participate. Weanlings have the option of paying a one-time fee that covers all four years of eligibility.

Dam Fee – This is a one-time fee good for the duration of the foal’s Futurity career.

Sire Fee – This is a one-time fee for the particular foal crop nominated. The Sire Fee must be paid for a foal to be entered.

In addition to the fee, stallion owners are required to donate a stud fee that will be auctioned off and added to the Futurity premiums.

For stallions that DO NOT breed to the public, the owner can pay a higher fee and not donate a stud fee.

For stallions that offer public breedings, the owner can opt out of donating a stud fee by paying a higher fee and forfeiting their portion of any premiums.

If, after requested, the owner of the stallion refuses to pay the fee, the initial nominator may pay that fee and will receive the stallion’s portion of the foal’s winnings.
