Tennessee marked Ag Day on the Hill at the state Capitol on March 18, 2025, showcasing the state’s agriculture industry with exhibits, live demonstrations, and a special appearance by Cavender, the 2024 World Grand Champion Tennessee Walking Horse. Cavender proudly represented the Tennessee State Horse, highlighting the walking horse’s role in the state’s heritage.
State officials, key industry leaders, agricultural students, and community supporters joined together to celebrate agriculture’s economic and social impact on the state as a whole. The event also recognized National Ag Day, reinforcing the importance of farming, forestry, and food production in Tennessee.
