On March 19, 2024, Tennessee celebrated National Ag Day at the Tennessee State Capital in Nashville, and TWHBEA was there with the Official State Horse! National Ag Day celebrates the vital role of agriculture. Governor Bill Lee issued a proclamation honoring farmers and foresters as part of state and national Ag Day activities. Tennessee’s hardworking farmers, foresters, agriculture officials, legislators, 4-H members, FFA members, and citizens came together for “Ag Day on the Hill.” For the past several years TWHBEA has participated by bringing a Tennessee Walking Horse to participate in the celebration. This year’s ambassador was SHIPWRECKED, the Owner/Amateur Four & Five-Year-Old Country Pleasure World Grand Champion. TWHBEA President Amanda Wright and CEO Mark Farrar were joined by trainer Baily Momb at the event to greet visitors and answer questions.
