American National Insurance has signed on as an annual sponsor of the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) and will be the title sponsor of the Gelding Opportunity (GO!) and Motivated Mares programs. Because of their sponsorship, $1,000 will be added to the jackpot of each program this year. The sponsorship money along with the nomination fees collected will be paid out to the top mares and geldings in each division (performance and pleasure).
“Thanks to the support of American National Insurance we’ll be able to increase the payouts in these two programs by over 200% compared to last year,” says Mark Farrar, TWHBEA Executive Director. “We look forward to working with Dean Crawford and American National Insurance to grow these programs and reward members who are showing mares and geldings.”
Points for TWHBEA programs are accumulated through September 30. With many shows between now and then, this is a great time to sign up and start accumulating points. The nomination fee is $25 per horse and more information can be found at www.twhbea.com (The Breed > Programs) or by calling 931-359-1574.
