Tennessee Walking Horses Proudly Represented at Equitana USA

EQUITANA USA invites equestrian professionals of all breeds, disciplines and enthusiasts of all riding levels and ages, to celebrate the horse through education, entertainment, and shopping at the Kentucky Horse Park.

On October 1-3, 2021 the Tennessee Walking Horse did just that! The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association was on site all 3 days of the event promoting the most wonderful breed on earth, the Tennessee Walking Horse. TWHBEA representatives Margo Urad and Kristen Corbin graciously welcomed visitors from all over the World.

The Tennessee Walking Horse was presented by different groups of riders each day of the event. During the breed demonstrations, each group showed the different gaits of the Tennessee Walking Horse and explained about the breed.

TWHBEA thanks the following for coming to Equitana USA and showing their best of the best to the world! TWHBEA Youth VP Chris Hazelwood and daughter Georgia of Chapel Hill, Tennessee had on display the Mare and Foal duo Whoopin’ It In Command and The Dixie Linebacker. Hankins Stables of Paris Kentucky shared She’s Walking on Fire and Gigi’s Lunch Money with Claire Hankins, Sheza Drama Mama was ridden by Miss Maddie McMorrow and Cash’s June Lady was ridden by Diane Wilson.

Stonewall Farm of Shelbyville, Tennessee brought their youth riders to represent the breed, Labeled a Parolee was ridden by Eliza DeKleyn, Ferdinand was ridden by Alainna Sharp, Fila was ridden by Ruth Collins and Self Made Money was ridden by trainer Jessica Mast.

Circle T Stables also of Shelbyville, Tennessee brought horses to have on display for everyone to see. Horses 401k owned by trainer Laurie Toone, Mr. Bentley owned by TWHBEA Sr. VP Ashley Wadsworth, Checkpoint Charlie and youth rider Harper Grider and Carolina Chrome with Assistant Trainer Sheldon Bochenek.
