The Tennessee Walking Horse Youth Association (TWHYA) is excited to announce the launch of its $250 Youth Activity Grant Program for affiliated horse shows that host youth-focused activities during their events.
These grants are designed to encourage youth involvement and enhance the experience of young exhibitors and attendees at Tennessee Walking Horse shows across the country.
Eligible activities may include ice cream socials, pizza parties, judging contests, scavenger hunts, or other creative youth engagement events. TWHYA encourages show managers and youth coordinators to think creatively and plan activities that foster fellowship, fun, and participation among young horse enthusiasts.
To qualify for the grant, horse shows must:
-
• Be affiliated with the TWHBEA International High Point Program.
-
• Submit a completed Youth Activity Grant Application.
- • Provide event photos and a short written recap suitable for publication in the VOICE magazine.
Grant funds are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no deadline to apply.
Payment will be issued after receipt the event photos and writeup. Applications, photos, and post-event writeups should be emailed to: programs@twhbea.com
TWHYA remains committed to supporting and growing youth participation within the Tennessee Walking Horse industry and looks forward to partnering with horse shows to create memorable and meaningful experiences for the next generation.
