The Tennessee Walking Horse was proudly showcased recently as part of a special visit coordinated by the Tennessee Farm Bureau Federation, which hosted a group of farmers and policymakers from Germany through the American Council on Germany. During their stop in Shelbyville, the visitors were introduced to the Tennessee Walking Horse by TWHBEA International Vice-President Denise Bader, who, being originally from Germany herself, was able to share the breed’s story in their native language. The group enjoyed an up-close look at the breed’s signature smooth gait and gentle temperament during a visit to Jerry Williams Stables, located at Nearest Green Distillery, offering an authentic glimpse into one of Tennessee’s most iconic agricultural legacies.
