The Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ & Exhibitors’ Association (TWHBEA) is pleased to announce the return of the Equestrian Star Program for its second year, continuing the Association’s commitment to recognizing outstanding youth within the Tennessee Walking Horse industry. After a successful inaugural year, the program once again highlights young equestrians in grades 6–12 who exemplify dedication, talent, and achievement in horsemanship, competition, and industry involvement.

The Equestrian Star Program honors youth who are passionate about the Tennessee Walking Horse breed and who devote significant time and effort to their equestrian pursuits. Eligible participants must meet program requirements between January 1 and December 31 of the program year. Submissions for recognition are due by February 28 for the previous year’s accomplishments, and selected recipients will receive a lapel pin and certificate presented during their school’s Awards or Honors Day.

“Our inaugural year of the Equestrian Star Program was met with enthusiasm from youth, families, and educators across the region,” said Nicole Tolle, TWHBEA Youth Vice-President. “We are thrilled to continue this initiative for a second year as we celebrate the perseverance and passion of our young equestrians. Recognizing their achievements not only honors their hard work but also encourages them to keep growing within the Tennessee Walking Horse industry.”
