Webcast Instructions for Today's APHIS Stakeholder Meeting

APHIS’ Stakeholder Meeting begins today at 1 p.m. EST in USDA’s Jefferson Auditorium.  While we hope to see many of you in person, I know that some of you will be joining the meeting via our live Webcast. I’ve had several inquries from stakeholders about how to connect to the Webcast so I wanted to provide some brief instructions.

The link for the Webcast is available on our Stakeholder Information page at: http://www.aphis.usda.gov/stakeholders/. Under the “Meetings and Events” section, you will see a box entitled Stakeholder Meeting Webcast.  Simply, click on the box and you will be taken directly to the live Webcast.   We’ll start as close to 1 p.m. as possible but there may be a slight delay if meeting attendees are still getting seated.

A couple of helpful tips for Webcast trouble shooting:

·        Make sure you are connecting from a desktop or laptop computer.  (You may have trouble connecting from a wireless device, such as an iPad)

·        You should be able to connect using any Web browser but Internet Explorer will provide the best connection.

·        Make sure the sound is not muted on your computer and that you have the ability to stream audio and video.
