Directors’ Positions to be Elected

In 2015, seven new directors will be elected from the State of Tennessee for the Tennessee Walking Horse Breeders’ and Exhibitors’ Association Board of Directors.  Based on the majority decision of the current Board members to accept the recommendation of the Executive Committee, the terms of office will be staggered in three, two, one year(s) format based on the numbers of votes received for their respective position.  The three persons who receive the highest number of votes will serve for three years, the next two for two years and the two that receive the lowest numbers of votes will only serve for one year before having to declare again for that position.  These positions are the only seven that will have to abide by this rule, the other states/regions listed below will continue to elect for and serve a three-year term.
