TWHBEA Congratulates 2012 Youth Ambassador Larry Lowman

This year’s TWHBEA Youth Ambassador Award was presented to Larry Lowman. A longtime supporter of the Tennessee Walking Horse industry, Larry Lowman is a former multiple term director from Tennessee for TWHBEA and a former multiple term Marketing Vice President for the Association. He was the second person ever to receive the TWHBEA Performance Horse Ambassador Award and he is a Hall of Fame inductee. Additionally, he was a co-founder of the Tennessee Walking Horse Foundation.

During his time as proprietor of Bridlewood Farm, he managed some of the most influential and successful stallions in our industry and he as owned or co-owned numerous World and World Grand Champions. He is an accomplished photographer and an artist.

Over the past year, Mr. Lowman has generously donated his time and talent to assist in the development of our youth committee’s Just Say Whoa program, offering advice and illustrating the program’s new activity book.
