The purpose of the Interim Committee is to investigate the contributions of horse farms to the state’s agricultural economy and examine those industries involved in the breeding and raising of horses. Mr. Irby, Mr. Thomas and Mrs. Starnes presented to the Committee information about the Tennessee Walking Horse and its history and presence in Kentucky. The information was well received and the meeting proved to be quite productive for all involved.
